Privacy Policy

RapidPrep ("we", "us", "our") provides exam-preparation materials for the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) licensing examinations, through the website rapidprep.xyz and the RapidPrep mobile app.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers both the website and the app; where they differ, we say so.

1. What we collect

1.1 Information you give us

First and last name — given at registration, so we can address you and identify your account.
Email address — given at registration, used for sign-in, password resets and service messages.
Password — stored only as a cryptographic hash. We never see it and cannot recover it.
Phone number — given at registration, for account recovery and support.
School or institution — optional, so we know which schools our candidates come from.
Exam track (RGN, RM, RMN, RCN, PHN, NAC, NAP) — chosen at registration, so we show you the subjects on your paper.
Support messages and question reports — when you send them, so we can answer you and correct our content.

Questions you answer, your answers, and whether they were correct
Time spent on each question
Bookmarked questions and practice sessions
Readiness and accuracy figures calculated from the above

This is the core of the service: without it we cannot show your progress.

1.3 Information collected automatically

Website: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. We use Google AdSense and Google Ads, which set cookies and may use your data for advertising and conversion measurement under Google's own privacy policy.
App: the app requests only internet access. It contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or device identifiers.

1.4 Payments

Premium access is sold on the website. Card and mobile-money payments are processed by Paystack and MTN Mobile Money. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference for it. We never receive or store your card number, PIN or mobile-money credentials.

The mobile app contains no payment feature of any kind.

2. Why we may contact you

Account and security messages, such as password resets and one-time codes
Replies to your support requests
Occasional notices about the service

We do not sell your data, and we do not send your details to advertisers.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with:

Payment processors (Paystack, MTN Mobile Money) — to take payment
Email and SMS providers — to deliver messages you have asked for
Google (website only) — advertising and conversion measurement
Hosting providers — who store the data on our behalf
Authorities, where the law requires it

We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account and study history for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we remove your personal data and your study history permanently — see section 6.

We keep anonymous, aggregate figures (for example, what percentage of all candidates answered a question correctly) because they contain nothing that identifies you.

5. How we protect it

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as hashes and cannot be read back, by us or anyone else. On mobile, your sign-in token is held in the device's secure keystore or keychain.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights and choices

Delete your account. In the app: Profile → Delete my account. On the website, or if you cannot sign in, email rapidprepgh@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and removes your answers, progress, bookmarks and remaining access. It cannot be undone.

give you a copy of the data we hold about you
correct anything that is wrong
stop sending you non-essential messages

Write to rapidprepgh@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You can control advertising cookies on the website through your browser settings and through Google's own ads settings.

7. Children

RapidPrep is for candidates preparing for professional nursing and midwifery examinations and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

We operate from Ghana. Some providers we use — hosting, email, payment, advertising — process data outside Ghana. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards for international transfers.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email.
